My Favorites

Favorite Band or Musician: Depends on my mood. Kenny Chesney ALWAYS cheers me up! Other likes: Dave Matthews, Lamb, Portishead, Christina, anything new really
Favorite TV show: Don't watch much TV actually at all. But I love all HBO shows: Sopranos, Six Feet Under. Also I like Forensic Files. I am a strange strange girl.
Favorite movie: So hard. Love chick flicks and foreign films. Amelie, Goodbye Lenin, Maria Full of grace, Pride and Prejudice, Bridget Jones Diary, Memento, Fight Club
Favorite book: Generally books about 30something British single women: think Bridget Jones Diary, Trading Up, Mr. Maybe, Jemima J. But also, any Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Jane Austin, John Steinbeck.
Favorite sports team: I don't watch sports. Get over it.
Favorite food: Thai food is really yummy. Also, crepes with nutella and banana, mostly desserts. But as for food, a good ole bean and cheese burrito. Variety of salads.

My Hobbies

My hobbies consist mostly of spending time with my girls. Partying definitely has its moments but also some of the best times are just throwing dinner parties, drinking cheap wine and laughing until my stomach hurts. Enjoy: trying unique foods, meeting international people, cooking with others, watching Sex and the City and eating chinese take out with the girls (or Gunny!), going to foreign films, museums, galleries. And one should not underestimate the enjoyment of wearing a cute trench coat, a warm pair of pants, cute heels and a purse under a stylish umbrella in the pouring rain....in Paris in the spring. Or perhaps, in the caves on a southern spanish beach at midnight with the warm breeze passing over and a full moon, African coast in sight. These are the moments, I love.

I've always been very interested in Audrey Hepburn. I think she's the image of what a lady should be. As for heros, I believe John Kennedy is amazing and made truly hard decisions when they had to be made.
